Ardwolf M400 Fingerprint Door Lock Review
Smart locks are growing in popularity daily, because they provide home and business owners with a variety ways to access their entry doors. However, many consumers prefer fingerprint door locks, because they offer a unique access method. Both of these locks will enhance home security and offer an abundance of convenience. The Ardowolf M400 fingerprint door lock provides three methods of access, including mechanical key, touch-to-open, keypad, and fingerprint.
Ardwolf M400 is integrated with an optical sensor that is capable of reading unique fingerprints. This sensor is designed to reduce false recognition and rejection rates, so you can access your home without delay. It can also capture and read fingerprint images in less than one second and will not recognize fake silicone fingers. It can store up to 96 traditional and 4 master level fingerprints.
The front and back plate is constructed out of 18/8 stainless steel material to prevent rust and corrosion buildup. The M400 is also weather resistant and can withstand temperatures between 5 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The lock is compatible with 30-45 millimeter thick metal and wood doors. You can also choose from the right-handed and left-handed model, so be sure to keep this in mind, while you are shopping.
The Ardwolf M400 is a battery operated lock, so there is no need for an electric power source. The 4 fully charged AA batteries will support up to 5,000-6,000 uses. Plus the stored data will not be lost, if the batteries completely die, before you have time to replace them. If you do forget to replace the dead batteries, you can still access your home, using the mechanical key or the 9 volt emergency power port.
